I studied classic Russian Constructivist posters, contemporary interpretations of the style, and visual elements from The Boy and the Heron to understand how shape, scale, and typography could create impact.
Early sketches explored different compositions by combining imagery from the film with Constructivist design principles. I focused on primary colors, dramatic angles, negative space, strong lines, and geometric shapes to create a poster that felt both modern and connected to the original movement.
